I just switched out Giteau for Toeava...not sure if he's going to make the first game. I suppose Giteau is probably better to have because he kicks the goals as well as scores tries...on the other hand, the Brumbies haven't had great warm ups so far...

I think the only common players between us are Tuituvake and DC. Looks good though. I might consider getting Deysel for myself as well...had Burger, switched to Palu just because Burger picked up an injury in a warm up. Waldrom's good too. Do you know how much Deysel is, off the top of your head?

Kahui is a solid bet in the centres too. I like him.

deyzel is at 6,5

and btw: i picked waldrom as captain on purpose. he'll probably earn a massive amount of points. still tough to say if he's gonna be better than DC or guildford. gonna wait for the first two rounds and change it if i was wrong

How do you figure Waldrom will get more points than Carter? I understand you get points for things other than scoring but does it really match up?

For each run 1
For each tackle bust 2

For each offload 1
For each linebreak 5
For each linebreak creates 3

For each tackle made 1
Pilfers 4
For each turn over forced 3

compared to:

For each conversion 2
For each penalty 3
For each drop goal 3

and carter isn't really the drop-goal type...

considering his last season stats especially the bold lines gonna be interesting. i still don't know how he could miss the ABs quad last year... but like i said, i'll follow closely. much comes down to form - but same goes for DC

Fair enough. I picked DC on the basis that he scores tries as well. In doing so, he'll make line breaks and runs of his own. Though a lot of the tough stuff, Waldrom will have a monopoly on I admit.

I tweaked my squad a bit...have pretty much the cheapest bench possible in the interest of decking out my starters. Thoughts on this strategy? How did everyone else do it?

I've gone for a similar strategy.

My team is:

Front Row: John Schwalger, Tendai Mtawarira, Aled de Malmanche

Second Row: Isaac Ross, Danie Rossouw

Back Row: Heinrich Brussouw, Kieran Read, Cobus Grobbelar

Scrum Half: Fourie du Preez

Inside Backs:Morné Steyn Daniel Carter (C) Jaque Fourie

Outside backs: Zac Guildford Lelia Masaga Cory Jane

My reserves are:

Clint Newland, Tiaan Libenberg, Kurtis Haiu, Jacques Botes, Sarel Pretorious, Berrick Barnes, and Adam Ashley-Cooper

Oh, and what do the stars mean?

The stars just mean that they're the highest in their category for last season (and therefore on the 'dream team').
