Six Nations 2008 Tickets Price
I'm going to London in March, and I was hoping to see England vs Ireland at Twickenham... the only problem is that tickets seem to be to expensive, and when I was looking on the Internet I couldn't find anything below 500£, which is over 670€ and over $970.
Are all tickets like this? Is there any chance I can buy some in the day of the match next to the stadium? A ticket for the RWC was around 50€ for a pool match.

Hey Ruggerboy,
This I find is an emotive issue... I urge you not to pay more than the face value of the ticket. If you're going to be there, and if you want a ticket bad enough, you'll get one and you won't have to pay more than face value. I've never sold or bought a ticket for more than what was printed on the ticket. I hope more fans are of the same mind. I'm not going myself but if I come across one, I'll keep you in mind.
All the best!
P.

Ehe, well it is absurdly expensive, and the £GBP is much more valueable than the $USD or the €EUR.
And thanks Proinsias, I appreciate.

You could go to the Sevens tournament in May, at Twickers. Tickets are just £15 for the day, and it will be an awesome spectacle. There is nothin like seein England, but if you are short on coffers, then that would be the next best thing!

You might aswell hire a helicopter and look down on the stadium for that price, don't bother. In my school, Blackrock College, you can enter a draw for tickets. Usually there's about 25 or so for my year alone and nobody enters, theres always spare ones.
They mayb be school-boy stand tickets but you get a pitch-level seat at either side of the pitch and we only buy the tickets for €10 if you win one. I went to two in Croke Park, had a set for Wales but couldn't be arsed going so I sold it.

Tickets for Saturday's match in London are around €2000 by now... I hope there are people selling tickets outside the stadium. What is usually the ticket price that is printed on the tickets?

ticket prices range from around £30 upwards to £120 for the best seats. There will be people selling tickets at the match. U want to look for people wanting them at face value and not the guys who are trying to make a quick buck.
